Fire in the Zagout pipline which fueling the Es Sider terminal shore tanks

On 12/08/2024, a fire occurred in the Zagout pipeline, which connects the fields to the Es Sider terminal shore tanks. This incident led to a temporary reduction in production by 100,000 barrels per day, with operations diverted through the Samah-Dhahra oilfield to the Essider terminal.

We are pleased to report that the fire has been under control.

Maintenance, including the replacement of the damaged pipeline, has been successfully completed. The terminal has now begun the process of filling the line with crude oil, and efforts to restart affected oilfields are ongoing.

Production will return to normal within the next two days.
